The Witcher 2 on the way

Rumours that in the depths of CD Project Red is working on a sequel to The Witcher ordenonosnogo appeared almost from the game's release. Indirect confirmation of these "speculations" were already in May this year, when Polish igrodely announced the suspension of the development of a console project The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf:

it was mentioned in passing mentioned that a large part of Polish developers since October 2007, busy working on unannounced project.

Point above the "i" was finally arranged a few days ago. Polish gaming resource Polygamia.pl posted on their pages full video of themselves on the CD Project Red on the sequel, which, as we now know is called The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Apparently originally intended to demonstrate the commercial potential publishers at the last exhibition game in August Gamescom 2009.

Anyway, the video quickly spread across the web and the Polish developers had no choice but to confirm the development of The Witcher 2.

The very spot, of course, was a great gift for all fans of the original game: almost five minutes of pure gameplay video with commentary developers. From the interesting to note much prettier picture, improved physical model (look closely at how to sparkle with new paint sign Aard), modified combat system and the so-called, Quick Time Events (QTE) in the battles with the bosses, plus a realistic change of time of day
